Meghan Rosner is a graduate of Emily Carr University and Capilano University. Born in Winnipeg, and raised in Vancouver, Meghan is a city wanderer, finding inspiration on her meanders for her play with colour in all mediums, collage, and imagined landscapes. Currently focused on painting, she has a background in soft sculpture, collaborative research with movement, and performance.

Her work is inspired by city wandering, mapping, colour relationships, science fiction, ephemera collection and finding the cozyitude in materials. Her current works play with placing hyperbright colours along with desaturated and sombre tones to construct imaginary landscapes that evoke a sense of familiarity yet are strange and just a bit alien.   Her practice is interdisciplinary, the methods, motivation and criteria change while working with what is at hand: fabric, wood, paints, pastels, dyes, and paper.
